We believe in summer youth camps because it provides more waking hours to minister to your student(s) in one week than one whole year of weekly services. Each June, our district holds it’s camp at Fun In The Son Camp on Table Rock Lake. We head out to camp on Monday morning and return Friday afternoon of that same week. Each day includes a camp-wide alone time with God after breakfast, a morning chapel with training in evangelism, discipleship, leadership, or moral discernment, afternoon small group games (winning groups get to put an adult leader of their choice in the dunk tank), lake activities (swimming, tubing, jet skis, cliff jumping, etc), basketball & sand volleyball tournaments, evening worship with a guest speaker bringing God’s Word, and cabin devotions before bed. Students in grades 6-12 may attend and stay in climate-controlled, same-gender, adult-supervised cabins with a high quality breakfast, lunch, and supper provided each day.
